Carrie's Point of View
“You’re a wolf and I could see you were being restrained by something that shouldn’t be used,” an old lady said when I first saw me.
“Y-you knew?” I asked her, trying not to cry. I struggled to remember this man that has always been in my mind. I felt like I knew him but couldn’t just think when or how. There’s a thick fog clouding my mind.
“Your wife is fighting. She can’t let that potion take over her.”
“Can you help me? I wanted to get out of here, it felt so wrong to be here,” I said.
The old lady smiled and took my hand.
“Don’t worry, child. The fate wasn’t sleeping after all. You’ll have the freedom that you want very soon.”
That conversation was two months ago. The old woman I talked to was found dead the next day.
And I have been stuck here after we left the place where I met her.
