When we got back to the island, my phone started ringing. It was my parents.
I grabbed the device and quietly stepped outside, shutting the villa door behind me.
The second I picked up, Mom's voice exploded through the speaker.
I had to hold the phone away from my ear until she finally stopped yelling. Only then did I cautiously lift it back up.
"Amber! Didn't you say clicking the link would show us Helen's location?"
"Yeah," I replied. "That little red dot is her real-time location."
Mom screamed, "Then, why the hell is she in the middle of the ocean? Did she jump off a boat?"
I tapped the link and took a look. Sure enough, the red dot that represented Helen was zipping across open water.
"Mom, she's probably just on a plane right now. You don't have to panic. I'll keep tracking her tonight. The second she lands, I'll let you know."
That finally calmed her down.
I could hear her about to hang up, but then Dad's voice took over. He asked, "Amber, the bids for next quarter's A
