Early the next morning, Liam was already waiting downstairs. I picked out a charcoal gray suit for Felix, while I wore a light blue tweed set—elegant with a touch of playfulness.
After tying Felix's tie, I smiled and bent down to put on my shoes. When his gaze landed on my high heels, he frowned slightly.
"You're really going to wear that?"
I twirled in front of him, the fishtail hem of my skirt forming a graceful arc. "Yeah. Doesn't it look nice?"
Felix nodded his head. "It looks great."
Pleased by his compliment, I opened the door and said, "Then let's go."
"Wait a second."
Felix turned and went upstairs. A moment later, he came back down carrying a bag. "Let's go."
