I still found Alpha Gabriel’s challenge ridiculous. Ate and chatted in pitch darkness? Okay, so it was a new experience for me, but that didn’t mean I’d fail Luna if I didn’t pass this, right?
“So, did I pass the test?” I asked after placing my knife and fork on the plate after finishing the last piece of my beef steak.
“Yeah, let’s just say that,” Alpha Gabriel said.
Why was he answering me so calmly in the first place? I was getting more and more impatient with this situation and Alpha Gabriel wasn’t showing any signs of threats, as I suspected. Plus, the merlot wine the waiter served made me even more intoxicated by the comfort of this condition.
Considering there was Harlow in this room, I didn’t mind and felt safe. Alpha Gabriel also didn’t talk much or threaten me like he usually did these days. With the glasses of merlot, I was no longer tense in fear that my life would be threatened. Everything felt normal.
