Nollace gnashed his teeth, clasped Bear mercilessly while in excruciating pain, and lifted his hand. The knife handle slashed across the hand, and blood gushed out of the wound, making it almost impossible to distinguish the flesh from the bloody mess. Bear was still clinging to him, not letting go.
