Hall didn't say anything, lost in thought. Audrey didn't push further, starting the car with her usual composure. The siblings drove home in silence and never brought up the topic again. The next day, they each went about their own business, seemingly having forgotten the entire conversation. Meanwhile, back at Vincent’s house, Randall seemed to have completely forgotten the incident with Hall. He was in high spirits, entertaining the elders and playing with Ivan, making himself the busiest person in the house. He had already told Selena that he wouldn’t be returning for a few days to help Isabella with the wedding preparations. Even though the wedding planning company handled most things, the family was still quite busy. Despite having most things ready, everyone seemed occupied with final details. The elders, especially, kept finding little things that still needed to be done. Isabella’s aunts came from out of town to help. Caroline, who loved Isabella dearly and understood the
