Simon knew how to hold a polite conversation with Helen.
Helen was pouring more tea for him. “You look like you’ve just touched down,” she said. “Why didn’t you go home to rest first?”
“I’ve rested before coming over,” he said sincerely.

She has lost all self-discipline since she started dating; always staying up at night with a silly grin on her face.”
