Chapter 28

A chill ran up my spine from the draft in the room, causing goosebumps to rise all over my skin. I lazily sauntered into what appeared to be his closet, hitting the jackpot when I found a massive grey crewneck. I threw it on, not bothering with pants as it fell past my upper thigh, ensuring that even if I bent over I would still be fully covered. I guess this just really puts it into perspective how much larger he is than me.  I wandered into the kitchen before pulling the fridge door open. I grabbed out the carton of eggs, gallon of milk, and a package of bacon. I put a couple pans on the stove before turning the burners on to heat them up. I filled one of the pans with slices of bacon before rummaging through his cupboards for a bowl. Finally finding what I needed, I found a fork and cracked a few eggs into the bowl, added a dash of milk and some salt and pepper before whisking it all together.
