He gets in seconds later and starts the engine, pulling out of the drive way and onto the road. I don't even bother to start conversation, I just stare out the window and watch the trees past by. It's Adam who breaks the silence. "So you know about the up coming formal, right?" "No." And I hope I won't ever know that one's coming up, nor do I wish to attend one.
