Chapter 116

Stella wrestles them off of her and the day continues like that, only Ambrose and Mia take to bugging Liam again who chases them back. Stella just seemed genuinely annoyed while I know Liam is making the effort to play with them. I watch them from the living room, Ambrose dangling from Liam's back. He runs around the yard with her and pretends to buck her off, sending her into a fits of laughter. Mia clings to his leg as well and they switch places, demanding turns on Liam's back.  It's cute. It's surreal.  Alden takes to grilling up dinner for everyone and that's when I take the chance to whisk Stella away, out to the front porch. "I'm gonna for a walk with Stella," I inform to Liam who's still attached to Ambrose and Mia. I know he can't protest with them clutching and so he narrows his eyes at me. I give him a swift kiss. Ambrose and Mia gag. "Be safe Ronnie!" He calls after me and I wave him off with a grin over my shoulder.
