Autumn immediately regretted her words.
Dawson had his own car. If she had been shameless enough to catch a ride with him, she could have tried to convince him. However, since they were using their own cars to return home, the opportunity had slipped through her fingers.
Autumn had summoned all of her courage to reveal her intentions to Dawson. His silence could be considered an answer in itself—he wasn't willing to help her.
"Send me home," Dawson said.
"You're responsible for sending Mr. Faulkner home, Autumn," Della chimed in.
"Okay!"
Suddenly, Autumn had hope again.
"I'll be taking my leave now, Mr. Faulkner," Della said.
Dawson nodded.
Autumn looked at him after Della left, waiting for his answer. However, Dawson didn't say a word. Instead, he glanced at his phone before getting to his feet. Autumn's attention was completely focused on him as she asked, "Do you want to go home now, Mr. Faulkner?"
Dawson hummed in response before he headed outside. He entered the restroom
