Everyone turned toward the sound.
Gregory stood nearby, a champagne flute in hand, idly swirling the pale liquid as he spoke in a casual, unhurried tone.
"You—Mr. Sutton!"
Holly was about to erupt, but when she realized the speaker was Gregory, the anger lodged in her chest had nowhere to go. She swallowed it whole, not daring to show it.
After setting his champagne down on a nearby table, Gregory lifted his gaze lazily and glanced at her.

With that, and without caring how anyone reacted, he turned and walked away.
