"Shut up, Kieran!" Lila spun around, glaring at him with her large, almond-shaped eyes. To him, however, she looked more adorable than intimidating—so much so that his heart fluttered.
With a playful glint in his eye, he reached out and gently pinched her flushed earlobe. "If you call me 'darling' again, I'll stop talking, alright?"
