"I know she's yours, I know what she means to you and I understand that you and your wolf don't want her to be taken away, but I'm her mother, I would never hurt her. Look at her," my mum instructed and I felt as if every pair of eyes in the room were on me, it felt as if I could actually feel them on my skin. "You're making her uncomfortable; she's been through a lot and right now you need to let her go."
