The alley was eerily quiet as Camila and Emma strolled arm in arm, just a few steps from exiting, when a group of men blocked their path at the entrance.
These guys had that sleazy, predatory look in their eyes, blatantly sizing them up without any shame. It was obvious they weren't here for anything good.
Emma instinctively stepped forward, shielding Camila behind her. Her sharp gaze scanned the men as she spoke in firm English, "What do you want? Move aside!"
She wasn't taking any chances-some of the men clearly weren't local. Their mocking laughter rang out, wolf whistles echoing through the alley.
Camila frowned, not out of fear, but pure disgust. "If you guys don't leave right now, my friend's calling the cops. And if we're not back at the hotel in ten minutes, our friends there will call them for us."
