When Camila leaned out for another look, the place was pitch black-nothing in sight.
Maybe it was just a stray cat or something?
Though she was still a bit unsure, Camila didn't dwell on it. After closing the window tight, she headed back to her study.
It'd already been two weeks into summer break-definitely time to catch up on schoolwork.
Whenever Camila focused on something, she gave it her all. So much so that she didn't even notice someone standing at the floor-to-ceiling window in the now-dark villa across the street.
A small black surveillance lens had quietly poked out from behind the curtain, aimed straight at her study window, recording her every move.
"So... when's the move?" came a cold murmur from inside the villa's dark living room.
The guy with the surveillance gear didn't even bother looking up. "No clue. Waiting for word from the top."
Off in one corner, the sniper said nothing-completely calm, almost unnervingly so.
