Skylar's expression turned grim. Elaine's emotions had clearly been unstable these past few days.
When he first heard that she didn't actually have depression, his immediate reaction was disbelief.
Thea spoke up, "Could it be that the hospital made a mistake? They clearly examined her before and diagnosed Ms. Shelton with depression. If she didn't have a mental illness, she wouldn't have accidentally pushed me."
As she spoke, she kept sneaking glances at the doctor, hinting at him not to say too much.
The head of psychiatry, Caden Merrill, continued, "Mr. Frey, Ms. Lancelot, this is indeed the hospital's negligence. Now that we know the truth, we can't continue to avoid responsibility. We have a duty to inform you."
Skylar interrupted impatiently, "Get to the point. Marcus is a surgeon. Even if Elaine was misdiagnosed with depression, he wouldn't have been the one to diagnose it. What does this have to do with him?"
