Chapter 16

Callum stood at the forefront, staring at Nadia on stage with a burning gaze. His heart started fluttering uncontrollably. He had never known that Nadia played the piano. She was able to play without looking at the keys at all. International experts might not even be able to play as well as her, and their playing might not even be as deeply moving as hers. There was no doubt she was a genius in music. Callum felt like she had gotten to know Nadia all over again. The woman who was once ignored and belittled by him was actually so dazzling. Samuel's gaze was burning as well. It had been years since he last heard her playing the piano. After the song ended, Nadia gradually opened her eyes. Her long lashes fluttered gently, and they were so beautiful that they took everybody's breath away. The entire hall was silent. Everybody was still engrossed in the voice and the sound of the piano earlier, unable to regain their senses for a long time. Suddenly, the room erupted in applause,
