After Jareth left, Celestia just collapsed, totally drained. She was physically exhausted, but oddly enough, sleep just wouldn't come.
Her mind was a mess, like a dozen balls of yarn all tangled together-no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't find an end to start unraveling. And what hit hardest was, she used to be good at figuring out what to do. This time, though? Blank.
She had no idea how long she sat there like that. Her thoughts ran in circles until finally, her brain just couldn't keep up anymore. Every time she shut her eyes, that cold, twisted look on Jareth's face would show up... and that awful sentence he said kept echoing.
She'd jolt awake, eyes wide, just sitting there staring at the empty space around her. She didn't get a wink of sleep that entire night.
Early the next morning, worried about her health, Victoria rushed over. One look at Celestia's pale, drained face, and she immediately started fussing, tossing out questions one after another.
