Chapter 89
After Celestia made a call in her room, she stayed inside for quite a while. It wasn't until Isabelle came looking that she finally dragged herself out reluctantly.
While they were heading downstairs, Isabelle, walking beside her, glanced over and said with concern, "You were gone for so long, I thought something happened. Are you okay, Celestia?"
Celestia nodded. "Yeah, it's nothing. I was just looking for my meds... couldn't remember where I put them. My memory's getting worse, clearly," she added with a small laugh that barely hid her discomfort.
Isabelle followed up, "Will you be alright if you skip a dose?"
"It's not that serious," Celestia replied while shaking her head.
They were heading down, one after the other. As they neared the last few steps, a sudden sharp scream broke the silence.
Startled, Celestia turned to look, and in that one second, her foot slipped. Caught off balance, she was thrown backward, instinctively reaching for the banister-only to realize she was too far
