Chapter 42 Husband Comes First

Emily Rollins seemed to have endless words to talk to Paul Scott about whatever came to her mind. Talking about the embarrassing things about her and Ronin Smith when they were young, about how proud her parents believed in her and punished Ronin Smith, and about the things that Ronin Smith blamed on her. Memories are both sour and sweet. Emily Rollins cries and laughs. She spoke lying down for a while, sat up and watched Paul Scott speak for a while, and changed several positions over and over again. Until she sat up and looked at Paul Scott again, suddenly her eyes met Paul Scott's. Dark and deep, breathtaking.
