Chapter 21
Snowflakes swirled in the sky, and the cold breeze was piercing. The ground was covered in a blanket of white.
Vincent let out a laugh.
"Someone like you should worry about surviving first." He shot the old man a disgusted look before returning to his car.
"What a scammer," he added disdainfully before leaving.
He restarted the engine and stepped on the accelerator.
At that moment, he was still thinking about what had happened.
They lived in a modern world, so why would lowly scammers like the old man still exist?
Someone like that could only fool Diana.
Just the thought of Diana made Vincent frustrated again.
She was a grown woman, yet she still believed the nonsense said by the scammers.
Vincent wondered if she was naive or simply foolish.
He spotted Diana while on his way back. She was lightly dressed and holding an umbrella. She didn't even wear a scarf or winter coat.
"Get in." Vincent stopped the car beside her and slowly rolled down the window, revealing his hand
