The words echoed in Ronaim's mind. They were just like a haunting melody replaying again and again in her heart.
She stared at Nathan and asked, "Can we really start over?"
"Sure." Nathan reached his hand to his pocket and took out a little velvet box. He opened it and a dazzling diamond ring was in it. He took it out and put it on Ronaim's fourth finger, said gently, "It was an imperfect wedding when you married me three years ago. I didn't even give you a diamond ring.
