Josephine had expected Yvan to be furious after she'd said that. She had even been prepared to deal with his anger. But to her surprise, not only was he not angry, but his expression which was usually mischievous showed a rare hint of seriousness.
"It does," Yvan said.
"What?" Josephine asked.
"It does have something to do with me."
Yvan slipped the lighter into his pocket, then pulled out a folded piece of paper, and placed it in front of her. "Take a look."
Josephine instinctively wanted to avoid him but was too curious about what he was handing her. So, she took the paper and unfolded it.
As soon as she saw what it was, she froze. It was a copy of a will. It stated that Joe had allocated more than 70% of his assets to Yvan. The remaining amount was split—half going to other relatives and the other half to Zayn.
