Chapter 379
Michael rushed over in a flurry, having just lost track of Dante for a moment. This was a university bustling with people. What would he do if something went wrong?
When Michael arrived here and saw Dante safe and sound, he breathed a sigh of relief.
Then he noticed the scene before him and was momentarily taken aback.
Each time he saw Dante smile, it felt somewhat daunting. Yet, at this moment, he thought Dante's smile was genuinely charming.
Michael couldn't help but gaze at the two female students in front of him.
His eyes lit up. They were both beauties. One was cold and aloof, while the other had a natural, unadorned beauty.
As a gold-tier agent in the entertainment industry, Michael couldn't help but steal a few more glances at such promising talent.
At that moment, he heard Dante's faint voice. "Mr. Poole, have you looked enough?"
His voice sounded normal, yet it carried an underlying sense of danger that sent chills down Michael's spine.
Michael shivered involuntarily and quickly shifted his gaze away. He felt as though even a single glance more could cost him his eyesight.
Melina finally snapped back to reality. Hearing the cheers around her, she also realized Dante's identity and exclaimed in surprise, "Dante, have you become a star?"
Dante nodded. "Yes, Ms. Crawford. You were always hoping I could step out and see the world, right? I've come out now. Are you happy?"
Melina vigorously nodded and beamed. "Of course I am!"
Regardless of the reasons Dante had for stepping out, she felt happy. Life was already so short; it would be unfortunate if he remained locked away in that small room.
Melina's radiant smile brightened Dante's heart, making him smile gently too.
Excited like an old friend who had reunited after a long absence, Melina asked enthusiastically, "Dante, how did you come to Cyntia University? It's usually not open to outsiders."
Dante replied nonchalantly, "Someone invited me to perform at the opening of a new store."
"Ah, could it be my parcel collection point?" It had seemed like she was the only one opening a new store on campus as of late.
Dante smiled and nodded, making Melina's happiness surge even more. Regardless of Dante's fame, she felt satisfied that he had come to celebrate her store's opening.
At that moment, Melina evidently hadn't realized just how popular Dante had become. Because of him, more and more students gathered around.
Michael felt that continuing the conversation like this might not bode well. Others might mistakenly think Dante was in a romantic relationship, so he quickly inquired with a smile, "Mr. R-Rothschild, do you know this young lady in front of you?"
Michael wasn't asking for himself but rather on behalf of Dante's vast fanbase.
Dante glanced at the sea of fans gathered behind him, his eyes subtly narrowing beneath his glasses. He didn't want to cause trouble for Melina and smiled as he explained, "We're acquainted. She used to tutor me."
Michael let out an unintended sigh of relief.
It was good that it was merely a teacher-student relationship. If they had been involved in something scandalous, that would have been alarming.
The fans behind them buzzed with envy.
"Oh my God, I really envy Melina for having tutored the Little Saint!"
"Why is she so lucky? I want to be a tutor too; I want to see my Little Saint up close."
"Are you sure you can still tutor? You barely remember what you learned in high school ever since you started college, let alone those elementary and middle school topics."
"It's not a question of ability; it's just that my Little Saint is so good-looking! Even more so in person! I wish I could keep him at home!"
