Chapter 33 Do It Yourself
Frederick was wearing a yellow and white plaid shirt today. He looked less serious, and the smile on his face made him look like a lively boy against the sunlight. "I'm not a Devil. Is it so scary to see me?"
Jenny nodded subconsciously. Frederick was scary to her.
Daniel looked at his grandson with a smile. "Jenny is a good girl. Don't scare her." He then pointed to Frederick and said to Jenny, "I didn't tip him off."
Frederick took the teacup in front of Jenny, sat down on the stone bench next to her, and drank all the water in the cup. "Grandpa is right."
He handed the glass to Jenny again and said, "One more cup, please."
Frederick then turned his gaze to Daniel and asked, "Grandpa, why does the tea taste so different today?"
"What's different? You drank the same last time." The wrinkle on Daniel's face smoothed out.
