Chapter 335 Love Letters
A car's horn sounded.
The car in front of them remained stationary despite the green light, so Ashton had pressed the horn.
The sound snapped William out of his thoughts.
Emelie continued coldly, "She specifically mentioned the drawer full of love letters I received, just to paint me as someone with a messy personal life."
Women knew the best way to attack another woman.
William suddenly asked, "Did you really have a drawer full of love letters?"
"So what if I did? They were stuffed into my desk before I even arrived at school. I didn't have a chance to reject them." It wasn't her fault.
"Did you read them?"
"No."
William's voice was cold. "Did you throw them away?"
Puzzled by his question, Emelie looked at him. "I didn't read them, but I didn't throw them away either."
Though she had no interest in the letters or their content, discarding them would have been impolite. After all, they were someone's heartfelt expressions.
She remembered gathering them all into a bag.
