My mind went blank in an instant. The thing I'd been dreading most had happened after all.
Tristan really did see me sending that woman off at the train station. And he definitely wasn't up to any good by showing up here.
"What are you saying? I don't know what you're talking about." There was no way I'd admit it. I acted like I had no clue what he meant at all.
"Come on, Luke. Don't be like that," he said. "Relax, I'm not planning to tell Brandon. If I wanted to, I wouldn't be here at your place. I'd have gone to Brandon's house instead."
"Don't go pointing fingers without proof, Tristan. That can get people into serious trouble." I turned to glare at him with a dark expression. I was betting on him not having any proof. As long as I didn't admit to it, he couldn't do anything to me.
