Owen stashed his phone away, his expression easing slightly.
"Thanks. Just leave it on the table," he replied nonchalantly before returning to the magazine he was browsing.
Sherilyn refrained from bothering him further. She quietly approached, set the coffee on the table, picked up the slightly wilted bouquet from the side table, and removed it. She then arranged the two fresh bouquets in their place, clearly accustomed to this routine.
