He paused, allowing his words to sink in. "Logan Maine has been a visionary leader, there's no denying that. But the skills that brought us this far are not necessarily the ones that will propel us into the future. We need fresh ideas, aggressive strategies, and a willingness to take calculated risks."
The board members listened intently, some nodding in agreement, others maintaining carefully neutral expressions.
"I have presented each of you with a detailed plan for the future of Maine Enterprises," David continued, his voice growing more impassioned. "A roadmap to not just maintain our position, but to dominate our industry for years to come. But to implement this plan, to secure our future, we need new leadership."
He turned to face Logan directly, his expression a mask of regret. "This is why I have called for this vote of no confidence. Not out of malice or personal ambition, but out of a genuine belief that it's what's best for the company we all love."
