Landon had just stepped out of Ava's room when he encountered Oscar Crawford, his assistant who had been waiting for him for some time. He said, "Mr. Greer, there's an urgent call from the domestic branch. The board of directors have some complaints about your prolonged stay overseas. Several key projects require you to personally make final decisions." Oscar handed over a tablet displaying the documents and meeting schedules requiring Landon's immediate attention. Landon wasn't looking at the tablet. Instead, he instinctively looked at the closed door behind him. He withdrew his gaze, and his voice regained its usual decisiveness. "Tell them that all matters will be resolved online. I'm not returning for now." A flicker of surprise passed through Oscar's eyes. Having followed Landon for years, Oscar knew how much he valued his career. He had never seen him delay work for any personal matters. Oscar couldn't help but remind Landon, "Mr. Greer, this involves that overseas energy p
