Hesper opened her eyes in the darkness.
Time passed in a blur in the dimness. Laying on the ground, Hesper forced her eyes to open, but she could barely see a thing. All she could remember was showing up in front of Seth Tucker's restaurant.
The snowflakes were still falling calmly in the night, melting into tiny water droplets as they landed on Hesper's eyelashes, further blurring her already hazy vision and turning the pitch black into a thick layer of fuzz.
