CHAPTER 23: She Got Rejected

In her distress, Linda grabbed Vincent’s forearm. She leaned on him, resting her head on his chest, feeling his breath. Kelly and Alex’s pupils trembled slightly. They glanced at each other, ignoring their own scolding, they immediately looked up at Vincent, then hurriedly lowered their heads. God knows how much their boss despised physical contact!
