The driver maneuvered the car into an upscale neighborhood after a thirty-minute drive, twisting and turning until he pulled up in front of a grand villa. He quickly got out and hurried to open the door for Emma. "Emma, we've arrived."
Emma stepped out, retrieving her suitcase and violin from the trunk, and scanned the area. Her eyes finally settled on the bold numbers "111" emblazoned on a lavish doorway. She thought to herself, 'Classic Ron, always the billionaire's kid, even his house number screams luxury.'
"Does Ron live here all by himself?" Emma inquired.
The driver nodded. "Yes. Ron prefers solitude and doesn't like disturbances. There's no driver here, just Carla Green, the housekeeper, looking after his needs."
Emma felt relieved that she and Ron were not the only ones living in the villa. Cohabiting with a fiancé she was not in love with would have been awkward.
