Louise's eyes, usually so full of light, now looked so fragile. This room held every memory she had of her mother - it was her whole world. And now, it was wrecked, completely destroyed. If she didn't get revenge herself, there was no way she could choke down this fury boiling inside her.
"We'll figure it out. Together. There has to be a way," Dominic said softly. He knew her past well, and knew how much this room meant to her. He never wanted to stop her from getting justice - he just hoped she'd go about it the smart way. Not dive in recklessly and fall into a trap, like what happened all those years ago.
