Dominic Ellis chuckled. "Glad to hear that." The two of them fell into silence again. After they finished eating, Dominic turned to check on the little one. She was fully absorbed in playing with her chubby little hands, occasionally sticking them into her mouth to suck on them. Drool trickled down from her hands onto her chin. He laughed softly. "Babies are awesome. They can keep themselves entertained for ages without making a fuss." Ava Reed gave the little one a warm look. Seeing her so happily chewing on her hand, she couldn't help but smile too. "I think about it a lot. Kids really are gifts from above. So soft and sweet, they need all our care, and in giving that, we get happiness in return. It's a blessing." Dominic nodded in agreement. "If you ever need anything, just say the word. It's getting late—I should start packing and head home. Take care." Ava gave a small nod. "Take care." Then something crossed her mind, and she called out to him. "Hey, don’t tell Louise Bennett you
