Yolanda let out a low hum of acknowledgment. After placing the soup on the nightstand, she slowly turned toward Frederick, both hands sliding up his chest.
Her voice was light and teasing as she said, "So, if you get married and realize your wife isn't as good as me, you'll still come looking for me, right?"
Frederick's face turned cold in an instant. "Don't forget your place. You're just a stand-in, nothing more than a prop. Once Minerva and I are married, she won't want to see you around. You'd better disappear quietly then."
With that, he shoved her away in disgust and walked out without looking back.
