Deborah was so angry that she burst out into laughter. "What makes you think that I want to compete with you for him?"
Was he even worth her efforts?
Brisa must be out of her mind.
Deborah gave her an eyeroll, and walked away.
"Stop right there!" Brisa quickly stepped forward and stood in front of her, looking down at the watch on her wrist. "You're not a part of the Brown family anymore, so shouldn't you return the watch my dad gave you?"
Deborah paused for a moment. A complex expression flickering across her eyes as she looked down at the luxury watch on her delicate wrist.
After a moment, she replied, "This watch holds a special meaning for me, I can't give it to you."
"What kind of special meaning?" Brisa said sarcastically, "I think it's just your vanity that's making you hold onto this watch!"
Her arms crossed, as she looked at Deborah disdainfully. "But for just a watch, I wouldn't even bother fighting with you over it. My dad said it's not worth much anyway, so I'll just consid
