Chapter 161
Confusion was never a word in Cillian's books.
He'd been brought up with a certain mind, a mind that only was what it believed and every other thing was pushed back and locked away in a room that would never be opened, that would never be given the chance to interfere with what he already believed.
And with that type of mindset, he'd grown believing what he felt for Regina was love.
But now, as he walked the hallway leading to the kitchen, his own unexpected words replayed in his mind, making him frown from time to time.
Gratitude wasn't love.
What he felt for Regina was it gratitude, love,or the two together?
That sounded like a tough question, one that Cillian knew if he were to start pondering now, would unravel so many things, things he wasn't ready to face yet.
Things he'd much rather keep in the dark until he had the stomach to take them.
So, with a sigh, he did what he did best. He shoved those thoughts to the back of his mind and instead focused on his destination.
The kitchen
