Adam wasn’t expecting to see Elora nor her vicious sister at the Academy when he came back to ask Korbyn for something.
His luck was running out even more because why would Elora see him when he was hiding, worse, in the wrong place with the wrong person?
The fault was entirely his; if only he had listened to Korbyn and just wandered to the least expectable places, Kael could have shown up. But he had listened to Korbyn and left, only coming back to ask when he should be back.
Adam watched on as Korbyn and Elora had a show off; he was surprised to learn that he had bitten Fawn in the arm, though he wouldn’t entirely put it past him.
