**Aurore's POV** The pack surrounded the wolf I met in the woods, growling at him. The small wolf was crouched low on the ground, his ears back and his tail between his legs. He must've decided to follow me after I left him. "Shift, wolf," I heard Colton's father growl as he, in his human form, approached the small wolf. The wolf didn't shift back, only whimpered. "I know that you're a shifter," Colton's father growled again, towering over the wolf. "Shift back and tell me your name and why you're trespassing on my land or you'll die." I watched in horror as the wolf tried to run toward the trees. Colton's father grabbed the wolf by the tail and threw him to the ground. The wolf yelped as the pack started closing in. "Stop!"
