Elaria opened her eyes and immediately locked eyes with the man's questioning gaze. Took her barely a second to figure it out-Sebastian still hadn't gotten his memory back. Fresh out of surgery, Sebastian was visibly drained. His voice came out raspy and low, "Elaria? Sorry... I still can't remember anything from before." Elaria reached out gently, wrapping her fingers around his hand with a reassuring smile. "That's okay. I can fill you in, bit by bit." Their eyes stayed locked for a minute, the air between them turning complicated. They were husband and wife, but he looked at her like a stranger. That kind of quiet tension... not easy to explain, but definitely there. Then, the door opened, and in came the Richards family. Anthony and Charles showed up with their wives, their kids tagging along, and the ever-blunt Daniel tailing behind, still single. As soon as Sebastian opened his eyes, two of the kids ran up, teary and wide-eyed, one clinging to each of his arms like little koalas.
