Chapter 294 You Sound A Little Weak
Charles’ sharp, angular features looked much more gentle under the dim, yellow lights. He lowered his eyes to look at Sophia. A shadow appeared on his face from his eyelashes, which blocked some of the light. A dark look could be seen deep in his eyes.
Their distance was very close. They were so close that Sophia was able to see the fuzz on his face. She pressed her lips and attempted to push him off, but he grabbed her hand and pulled her into his arms.
Thump.
Thump.
His slightly rapid heartbeat rang next to her ears as Sophia’s whole body stiffened. “… Charles?”
Charles grabbed her moving hand and held onto her tighter. “Stop moving.”
There was an unnatural blush on his face as he frowned slightly. A cold look flashed in his eyes.
Sophia’s limbs weakened slightly when she felt something push against her abdomen. A memory of something inserted into her body with a searing pain flashed in her mind, and her fingers trembled slightly. “What… What’s going on?”
“Aunt Fisher drugged me. She must be worried about Grandpa discovering your fake pregnancy.” Charles stared at her soft, white neck. His voice was abnormally hoarse. It sounded as if he was trying his best to exercise restraint.
If Uncle James was the one who drugged him, he would not have asked Charles to have a game of chess. As for Sterling and Nicole, they could not wait for him to stay as far away from Sophia as possible. They obviously would not try to drug him.
It was not difficult to guess the situation, and Sophia understood what had happened after a moment’s thought. She wrapped her arms around his neck stiffly and planted her lips on him.
Her lips were ice-cold, but his lips were passionately heated. Her initiative was driving him crazy under the influence of the drugs.
Charles grabbed her slender waist. It was so small that he felt that she would break if he used any more strength. The drugs in him flowed freely throughout his body and limbs, making his body so hard that he was almost exploding.
He desperately wanted to restrain the lust flowing through his body, but the moment he touched Sophia’s body, all reason and logic was lost. He pulled her on the waist and carried her up, kissing her as he took her to the bed. Then, he climbed on top of her.
“Don’t… Don’t blame… My… My mom…” Sophia’s lips were swollen, and her tongue was numb. His kiss was almost suffocating her. She turned away from his kiss and breathlessly begged for her mom’s mercy.
Charles' kiss fell onto her neck instead, and a red mark appeared on it from his lust. He gave an obscure-sounding answer and pulled up her shirt, tasting her nipples with his mouth.
Sophia’s eyes widened as she breathed rapidly. Her body arched in reaction to it, but her mind was consciously fearful. He had already pulled her pants down, and his long, slender fingers found its way to her secret garden below.
Every cell in her body stiffened, even her tongue was rigid. “Be… Be… Gentle.”
“Don’t be afraid.” Charles lifted his head. His voice was extremely husky but filled to the brim with gentleness.
Sophia was looking into the passionate fire in his fiery eyes. His attempt at calming her down with his words did not work. Rather, it made her even more rigid with nervousness. The unknown entity attempting to penetrate her body made her rigid body stiffen further. She had her hands wrapped around his body and did not realize her nails were digging into him.
“Try to relax, I can’t go into you.” Charles’ hand was sweating profusely as he went down on her like a hungry beast about to feast.
Sophia’s lips trembled as she took a deep breath, trying her best to relax her body. When he was finally able to enter her, she took in a sharp, cold breath as her face immediately turned ghastly white.
Bloated.
Bursting.
Bitter.
A searing burn.
Extremely… Uncomfortable.
Her abrupt tightening caused more sweat to drip from Charles’ forehead. He grabbed her tightly on the waist, the interchanging look of passionate lust and gentleness flashing in his eyes. “Try and relax a little.”
Sophia writhed her body with great discomfort and was about to reply to him when…
Knock, knock, knock…
There was a sudden knocking on the door.
Sterling was shouting from the outside, “Why is your door locked? Soph, open the door, I’ve got a present for you!”
Sophia’s tense nerves were broken at that moment as she pushed Charles away. “Quick, get up. My brother’s here.”
“Just ignore him. He’ll go away in a minute.” Her sudden action caused the fire burning within Charles to move downward. He held on tightly to her waist, refusing to allow her to back away from him.
“Soph? Soph, can you hear me? Didn’t you lose that jade pendant? I’ve gotten a pair of earrings that are of pretty decent quality. You can have it first. I’ll get you something better next time!”
Sterling was never one with patience. When Sophia did not answer him, he banged a few more times on the door.
Sophia’s heart trembled along with every knock on the door.
The servants had a key to her room as well. If she did not answer him or open the door, her brother might get a key from the servant.
If Sterling really did open the room door…
“Charles, get out of here first!” Sophia’s face was red as she reached out to push Charles off.
The sweat dripped down along Charles’ collarbone to his slightly pumped chest and abdominal muscles. It was a sight to behold. He grabbed both her hands and said breathlessly, “Don’t move!”
“Soph? Soph! What are you doing? Did something happen to you?” Sterling was shouting again outside her door.
If Soph suddenly had a medical attack and no one realized it…
The thought of this scared Sterling as he went pale. He quickly motioned the servants downstairs with his hand. “Quick, quick, quick. Quickly get the keys to Soph’s room for me. She might have passed out in her room!
“You, yes, you! Can you be any faster?! Just run over here! Quickly, pass me the keys!”
The servant got nervous when she heard his anxious tone. She quickly ran upstairs with the keys. “Young Master, here you are. The keys!”
This series of events happened within a span of two minutes. When Soph heard the key turning in the door, her face started to burn while her limbs went weak.
“Ster! I’m fine!” she shouted toward the door.
She said in a low voice to Charles at the same time, “Get out of here!”
Charles looked at the angry expression surfacing on her face and forced himself to restrain his body’s impulse. He frowned slightly and pulled out from her body. He lied beside her while staring at the door with a slightly dark look.
“Why do you sound a little weak?” Sterling stopped trying to open the door but did not remove the key either.
He tried to cajole her instead. “Are you feeling sick but don’t want to take any meds or injections? It’s not that scary to get a jab and take meds. Just look at Jenna, she isn’t scared of them at all!”
Sophia was worried he would suddenly open the door. She was within the sight of Charles’ almost too real gaze. She quickly put on some clothes and rushed to open the door.
“Ster, I’m really fine,” Sophia opened the door with a small crack and only revealed half her face.
The wool sweater was not high-collared, so she did not want her brother to see her neck that was full of hickeys.
“Why is your face so red if you’re fine?”
Sterling felt her forehead, and his eyes widened abruptly. “Your forehead’s burning. Are you having a fever?”
He reached out to pull her out before Sophia could answer. “We have fever meds at home. Take some first. If it doesn’t work, I’m taking you to the hospital!”
Sophia did not expect him to drag her out. She was pulled out of the room without warning.
