Sophia put on her facial mask once again and hurried out of the cafe to hail a taxi. “To Harris Corporation please.” She sat in the passenger seat behind and turned to look out the window but no matter where she looked, she only saw Charles. She must be overthinking, there was no way he had anything to do with Mom’s death! She should stop distrusting him so much! After around twenty minutes, the car came to a stop outside Harris Corporation’s building. Sophia got out of the car right away and the driver immediately shouted from behind her. “Miss, I need to give you your change!” “Keep the change.” Sophia rushed into the building without looking back. The receptionist lady gave her a warm welcoming smile. “Hello, how may I help you today?” “I’m here to see Charles Harris.” With that, Sophia took down her shades and mask to show her face for a brief second before putting it back on.
