The man's sense of entitlement made Mr. Lennox try to argue back.
Feeling it wasn't worth wasting more time on this, I talked Mr. Lennox out of it.
"Mr. Lennox, let's go to the upstairs lounge. We'll let this man rest here."
I turned my head. "And what should we call you, sir?"
The man seemed caught off guard.
"Kevin Litcher," he replied reflexively.
Kevin seemed to kick himself right after he answered.
Why was he so intimidated by me, answering my question so frankly? The upstairs lounge? I could tell he seemed to think we were bragging even more. The upstairs lounge was for those flying first class, so he must have been wondering why we thought we could just go up there.
Kevin rolled his eyes.
"Mr. Lennox, let Mr. Litcher relax here. We'll go upstairs and discuss the specifics of our competition later."
I didn't pay attention to Kevin's gesture, but Chase caught it. He was in a bad temper today, so he walked up to Kevin and snarled, "Who do you think you're rolling
