Alexander’s POV I raced after the pack nurses as they wheeled Bella into the territorial hospital on a stretcher. I'd called for help immediately after she started bleeding, but it wasn't until I carried her downstairs that the medical team had arrived.Immediately, I got into the ambulance and held her hand. I called her name several times and hoped she would wake up but her eyes just remained shut. "Bella, can you hear me?" I called her name repeatedly, but her eyes remained shut, her wolf retreated deep within. The lead doctor burst from around a corner, his stethoscope hanging carelessly around his neck. As we briskly followed the nurses pushing the stretcher, I explained what had happened. "I believe her mate struck her," I said. "She suddenly started bleeding heavily afterward." The lead doctor nodded and stepped into the ward where they had taken her. She was already placed on a hospital bed. "Wait outside, Alpha," he said. I followed his order.
