Harold Devins stared at the stranger holding his wrist, completely taken aback by the ferocity coming from the man. He'd never seen him before and was rather surprised by the anger in his voice. Why would a complete stranger be so overprotective over his daughter?
On the other hand, Klaus didn't care about the attention he was attracting. Not only were Megan and Austin gaping at him with shock but he'd also gained the full attention of every person walking in and out of the Quarry building. He didn't care. All that mattered to him was Georgina. His wolf, Alex, paced restlessly within him, urging him to protect what instinctively felt like theirs.
He threw her father's hand away and wrapped his arm around the young woman's waist, drawing her closer to him. She gasped again but her lower belly filled with warmth and butterflies. She couldn't deny that there was something very enticing about being in the arms of a strong, fearless and handsome man like Klaus.
