/3 hours later “So with that We will welcome our new neighbors the Star pack!” The Midnight Alpha finished. There was a bunch of cheering as the Star pack was welcomed into an alliance and as neighbors. Victor grinned and looked over the crowd as his father and the Midnight Alpha shook hands. “So now on to dancing and dinner! You will find burgers, steaks and other food off to the left with tables and the DJ should be setting up and starting to play some music shortly. So welcome and have fun” The midnight alpha finished before stepping off the stage and heading for the food. Victor found Carter, James, Nate and Bill and went to get some food. “Man, the she-wolves here are hot!” Nate said barely able to stop from jumping up and down. “Dude calm down” James said laughing. They joked and laughed as they got food and started eating. Victor looked around and noticed that for the most part the packs were mixing well, though none of the teens from the other pack approached their table. He thought it a little odd but didn’t think too much on it. Soon the dancing had started and all the young adults were on the dance floor while the adults talked on the sidelines. “Would you like to dance with me?” Victor asked a blonde she-wolf. “not a chance” She replied before turning to dance with Bill instead. Victor stopped himself from growling in frustration. That was the 4th or 5th chick to turn him down! Either he was off his game or something else was wrong. He caught sight of a beautiful wolf. Her hair was done up and curls framed her face. She wore a black dress that showed her curves and came to a few inches above her knee. The front dipped low and showed off a generous amount of cleavage without being slutty. She was dancing with a male from her pack. Victor growled to himself, normally he would go and try to hit that but he had a feeling that she would reject him too and then his night would be completely ruined. “Dude, what’s going on? Normally you have the girls killing each other to get to you.” Carter said coming off the dance floor and seeing his friend get shut down again. “I have no idea, the girls here seem different.” “how so?” “They don’t seem as, how should I put it? slutty. There are some that are dressed showing a lot of cleavage and skin but they aren’t as whorish. They seem to be a little more respectable for lack of better words” Victor said frowning. “That still doesn’t explain why none of the girls will dance with you. They are dancing with other members of our pack it’s just you specifically they are refusing to have anything to do with” Carter replied. “I know, I don’t know…maybe they are teasing me? Refuse to dance with the hotty and get him worked up? Who knows, I’m going to find Sandra dance and get laid. That will improve my mood. I will get these girls once they see me play and I show them what they’re missing” Victor said smiling. He walked over and grabbed Sandra who was wearing a slip of a dress and started dancing with her. He caressed her, slowly seducing her right on the dance floor. Working her up until he grabbed her and took her off into the forest his wolf protesting the entire time. Colleen’s Pov She watched him and smiled to herself. He didn’t get it, and wouldn’t. She had missed the introductions so he wouldn’t figure out who she was. She had danced with some of the males from her pack and kept an eye on her girls. She wouldn’t stop her girls from having fun but she didn’t quite trust the new pack yet and wanted to make sure that no one got hurt. She may not talk much to her pack at school but they knew that she always had their backs, she was always there as an ear to listen and a shoulder to cry on. They were loyal to her and it was showing tonight. She had told everyone what happened and had spoken to her father. They had all agreed not to say anything and let her work her own kind of revenge. But the pack hadn’t agreed to welcome that particular wolf with open arms. Colleen was sure he hadn’t figured it out yet, but he would. She had felt him watching her as she danced with Chance and the fact that he hadn’t stormed over meant either he didn’t care or he didn’t know it was her. Colleen bet that he didn’t realize it was her as she was too far away for him to catch her scent. She smiled once more to herself. She felt her wolf whimper as she felt a stabbing hot pain in her chest that meant her mate was with another. *we will make him beg for us, don’t worry Nya* *but he’s with another now* *I know my sweet wolf, but he thinks we are just some loser nerd and that is all we are. We will show him that we are more and we will have him begging to have us, not the other way around* *You sure?* *Yes, I am sure* Colleen replied. She felt the pain go away as her mate finished and her wolf sighed in relief. *we will show him* Nya said growling.
