Inside the director's booth, Heinrich entered with a gloomy expression on his face. Ingrid was engrossed in a conversation with the screenwriter, and her head lowered as they discussed the script. When she looked up, she was met with his sullen eyes.
"Ingrid, did you bring Safiya in?" Heinrich asked.
Ingrid nodded, not intending to deny it. "I did, and I told Wellington to keep it hidden from you at first."
Heinrich's breath grew heavier, but he was not so angry that he lost his composure. He spoke, his anger palpable. "Come with me."
After he finished speaking, he turned and walked out. Ingrid set the script aside, conversed briefly with the editor, and then rose from her seat to follow Heinrich outside.
Outside the studio, Heinrich stood beneath a tree, holding a cigarette between his slender and elegant fingers. The smoke swirled around him, and his sharp features were as cold as ice.
