CHAPTER TEN

PETRA'S POV.  I had just recovered from the punishment I received from Godfather a few days ago and it was time to begin executing the new plan. The only way to salvage the situation was to become close and undetachable from Madeline.   I had put my plan in place. First, I was to go close to her and be her personal maid. Madeline looked very lonely and I was sure that she would most appreciate and agree to my suggestion to be her companion because no one wanted to associate with her. Two, understand her daily activities and find the perfect time to strike. To be honest, I felt pity for Madeline. She was the only servant who was nice to me. I just wished she weren't caught in this crossfire.  I headed towards the lady's quarters with basket of fruit that I knew she loved eating.
